GE Security is pleased to announce the immediate availability of
Service Pack 2 for Secure Perfect v5.
Service Pack 2 for Secure Perfect v5 delivers software enhancements and defect resolution for the following:
- Support for HDS Cybermation (High Density Matrix Switcher)
- Fix--transmission of PTZ camera commands to GE DVMRe Triplex
- Fix--DO not resetting when DO Groups assigned to a logical alarm (Lost/Invalid Badge) are Purged/Acknowledged for reader DOs or if DO has On-time of 0
- Fix--incorrect Badge Description displayed on Badge Form if Arabic characters used
- Fix--intermittent failure on multiprocessor computers where after closing and reopening the alarm monitor, it may display alarms that were previously acknowledged or purged as not being acknowledged or purged
- Fix--for European operating systems where the time reported by the microcontroller may be incorrect, even if the host and microcontroller are in the same time zone
- Fix--communications error with certain Pelco CCTV devices due to protocol change
- Fix--workstation performance degradation due to 100% CPU utilization when live video from multiple DVMRs are simultaneously played
- Fix--behavior between daily and continuous for "T&A First In Last Out" report
- Fix--facilities filtering with "email on alarm"
- Fix--memory leak when turning microcontroller online and offline
Service Pack 2 for Secure Perfect v5 includes firmware v5.0.04:
- This version of firmware is supported on all Secure Perfect v5 systems and includes the following enhancements and/or defect resolution since v5.0.00:
i. Originally part of Service Pack 1
- Fix--DO remains latched after a forced door alarm is triggered followed by a REX condition or valid badge
- Support for US Robotics PCMCIA modem on M5 PXN CPU card
- Low Battery alarm feature available on M2000 with a host registry
- Added custom format support on WIU for 26-bit, 32-bit, Hughes35, Hughes37 and 4001
- Fix--corrected Flashtool reporting "No Application Code, Checksum = 000000"
ii. New in Service Pack 2
- Fix--order in which Alarm / Reset messages are processed after reconnecting to an offline microcontroller, re-ordered to comply with UL 1076
- Fix--address of downstream microcontrollers intermittently not being stored correctly
- Fix--undefined floor selection in history records causing erroneous conclusions by host
- Support for two consecutives Zone Arm / Disarm requests without an intervening badge transaction
- Fix--intermittent corruption of issue date field during badge learn transaction
- Fix--clearing of APB status upon host initiated request for Clear All APB function
- Fix--AC Power Fail and Tamper alarm reporting incorrectly immediately after power up or reset
- Fix--AC Power Fail and Tamper alarm count reporting incorrectly in the alarm monitor
- Fix--printer routing on elevator readers
- Fix--elevator reader failing to operate when numerous updates to Access Rights executed
- Fix--Force alarm reported as Held alarm when DI alarm sense value is non-zero
- Support for Billionton PCMCIA network card
- Fix--now able to open door when reader is set for armed intrusion zon
