There are two new tools available from GE Security to help you sell in the healthcare market. The first is a white paper that makes an argument for having a robust security program in the healthcare environment. This paper may be used to help security directors elevate needs to executives, or further educate members of the healthcare security community around regulations and rationale for a comprehensive security approach. The second tool is an overview of many of the JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations) standards that relate to security and life safety. Understanding JCAHO and the implications of their standards will help you be more effective when selling into hospitals.
