Error Code 40
Error Code 40 means the ActiveKEY is expired.
- Go to
KIM Web
.
- Choose your Association/Board/MLS from the drop-down list.
- Enter your key number and the 4 digit PIN code that you use to obtain a key from a KeyBox, then click
.
- Enter your key number and the 4 digit PIN code that you use to obtain a key from a KeyBox, then click
- On the left side of the KIM Web screen click 'Update Code'. You will see an update code and instructions for
entering that into you ActiveKEY.
Note: If you continue to have problems with your ActiveKEY not updating please contact

page to check any error messages you find.
