Error Code 40

Error Code 40 means the ActiveKEY is expired.

  1. Go to KIM Web .
  2. Choose your Association/Board/MLS from the drop-down list.
    Login
  3. Enter your key number and the 4 digit PIN code that you use to obtain a key from a KeyBox, then click .

  5. On the left side of the KIM Web screen click 'Update Code'. You will see an update code and instructions for entering that into you ActiveKEY.

  6. Note: If you continue to have problems with your ActiveKEY not updating please contact Support, or follow the Checking Error Codes instructions, then go to ActiveKEY Topics page to check any error messages you find.
