Radio Failure: Error Code 02
This may indicate that the radio in your key is unable to contact a cell tower
Reset the ActiveKEY
|
- Gently press a paperclip into the 'reset' hole on the back lower right side of the ActiveKEY. Be
careful not to press too hard, as you may damage the ActiveKEY.

- Once you've hit the reset button, the key will read GE SECURITY ACTIVEKEY for several seconds and
then turn off.

- If you are in an area where there should be good cell coverage contact your Association/Board/MLS about
bringing your ActiveKEY in for reprogramming.
- If that doesn't fix the problem, contact support for authorization to replace the key.
- If you are not in an area with good cell coverage check again when you get into good coverage
area.
Check Cell Coverage
- With the ActiveKEY on: Press
several times to scroll to VIEW ACTIVEKEY STATUS and press
- The screen should read ACTIVEKEY IS ENABLED
- Press

The screen should read ACTIVEKEY IS ACTIVE.
- Press
.
The screen should read CHECKING SIGNAL then CELL COVERAGE AVAILABLE.
Note: If your ActiveKEY still says CELL COVERAGE NOT AVAILABLE when you are in an area where
there should be good coverage, refer to the first two steps at the top of the screen.
