Key Displays Clock Failure and Buzzes Three Times

Commonly a clock failure is caused by allowing the battery to go completely dead on the ActiveKEY. After recharging the key, a clock error can usually be fixed by entering an update code. Alternately it is possible to have Support send a diagnostic request to the key and that may fix it.

  • Attach the ActiveKEY to the home power adapter until it has a full charge.
  • Call KIM Voice at 1-888.968.4032 to get an update code and enter it into your ActiveKEY.
  • If the CLOCK ERROR is still present contact Support so that we can send a diagnostic signal to your ActiveKEY

  • Email the webmaster with suggestions.
