Error code 19
Error code 19 usually means your key is not detecting a clear phone signal.
Possible causes for Error Code 19:
- Cradle is setup incorrectly or is plugged into a phone jack that is no longer working. The cradle
phone line may be loose, disconnected or damaged. You should
check your cradle setup
.
- The cradle is in an office on a multi-line rollover system or a digital phone line. If the cradle
is in an office it should be plugged directly into a phone jack on a dedicated FAX line.
- The DisplayKEY and cradle need to be
reset
.
- The cradle is plugged into a phone system that doesn't carry a reliable signal,
such as VOIP, Vonage, etc.
If you have your cradle at home and your phone service is digital voice (also called VOIP)
which uses your internet signal instead of normal phone service, it may work unreliably or not at
all.
If you're not sure if you have digital voice or VOIP, please contact your phone service
provider to find out.
If your phone provider has told you that you have digital voice (VOIP) call Support to see
if your computer would be compatible with a USB cradle that allows your key to update through
your computer.
- You have a special tone, instead of a dial tone, on the phone letting you know that you have
voicemail waiting. You may need to listen to your voicemail messages to eliminate this tone.
- The cradle may have a problem.
