MASterMind Training Tune-Ups

Sharpen your skills and expand your knowledge of MASterMind products! GE Security is now offering complimentary training sessions each month on various topics for MASterMind Monitoring, MASterMind Business, and MASweb. Tune-up your MASterMind skills by attending workshops that include valuable tips and tricks, useful features, and practical tools.

These training sessions are now being offered twice! Each session will be held via WebEx, an internet meeting center, the first Tuesday of each month from 4:00-5:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) and again on the first Wednesday of each month from 9:00-10:00 a.m. (Pacific Time). The following classes are currently scheduled:

August 4 and August 5, 2009 - Enhanced Login Features and Report Methods

This MASweb Job Streaming WebEx describes the new login features available in MASweb 6.24. These features allow MASweb administrators to implement multiple login blocks by user or IP address, use a new forgotten password link, customize rules that enforce password security options, and force logins to accept login terms or the provider's discretion. This session will also cover new reporting protocols in the .NET 2.0 framework version of the product, which improve reporting capabilities drastically.

September 1 and September 2, 2009 -  MASterMind Business Job Streaming

The MASterMind Business Job Streaming WebEx session describes how to set up, interpret, and troubleshoot the job streaming feature. Job streaming enables you to automate a sequence of processes and reports to run at a scheduled time and with a specific frequency. For example, you can run the A/R Aging Report and the Cash Receipts Journal on a monthly basis.

October 6 and October 7, 2009 - MASterMind Monitoring Intermediate Dispatching

This one-hour MASterMind Monitoring Tune-up session will cover some of the intermediate-level functions of dispatching alarms. Topics include: Zone restoral, placing accounts on and off test, alarm suppression, viewing zone status and expected events, and using follow ups. In addition, configuration of the user through the use of the global button assignment and the relationship between the user profile and monitoring options setup window will also be demonstrated.

If you are interested in attending one of these training sessions, please contact June Hilliard at june.hilliard@ge.com to register for the class. Once registered, you will be sent a link to the meeting as well as conference call details.

**There is a limited number of attendees, so each training session is limited to two calls into the conference center per customer.

Note: Due to the volume of participants expected, these classes will start promptly. Also, we ask that this be one-way training and all participant questions please be directed towards e-service@monauto.com.
