The GEC-HDR1 offers great low-light performance in standard and day/night versions as well as wide-dynamic range performance. With custom configurability and a full feature set, the GEC-HDR1 is a general purpose camera suitable for most applications.

The GEC-HDRI-DN Day/Night version is compatible with IR illumination. The GEC-HDR1 accomplishes its wide dynamic range functionality by taking two images for each frame—one image is slightly overexposed, the other slightly underexposed. A lightning-fast DSP core inside the camera takes both images and analyzes each for the best-developed pixel, then combines the two images for a single frame of optimized video.
